Local coffee and chocolate connoisseurs are in for a treat this festive season as local coffee shop Bru today (11th November) launches a range of new festive flavours to their menu.
The new menu items, which will only be available for a limited period, include three new hot drinks and two new desserts.
Firstly, there aren’t many flavours that say Christmas more than Gingerbread. Bru’s Gingerbread Latte is made with their 100% speciality Arabica espresso, featuring gingerbread syrup, cream and a gingerbread crumble.
And who doesn’t love a Terry’s Chocolate Orange in their Christmas stocking? Thanks to Bru, fans of chocolate orange flavours can now enjoy a Terry’s Hot Chocolate at Bru stores from 11th November. Bru’s Belgian drinking chocolate has been infused with orange, topped with cream and crushed Terry’s chocolate. What’s more, it can be even better enjoyed when paired with Bru’s Terry’s Chocolate Explosion; a waffle which is served hot and is freshly made topped Belgian chocolate and Terry’s Chocolate Orange Segments, served with hand-made vanilla gelato.
If chocolate orange isn’t your thing, then why not try a flavour which is a firm favourite found on many Boxing Day buffet tables… Introducing the Black Forest Hot Chocolate and the Black Forest Waffle. The Black Forest Hot Chocolate is made using Bru’s Belgian drinking chocolate with a twist of black forest flavour, topped with cream, cherry sauce and chocolate shavings. The limited edition Black Forest Waffle, only available for winter, is a freshly made waffle filled with morello cherry sauce, chocolate drizzle and finished with cherry sauce and served with hand-made double chocolate gelato.
